“Knockin’ On Hell’s Door” originated from a guitar and drums jam with a punk-core rhythm reminiscent of Mondo Generator’s first album. In my mind, Oliveri’s vocals would have been perfect… When Go Down Records allowed us to open for a Nick Oliveri gig, we submitted the song to him. He keenly agreed to sing it and gave us perfect vocals in a quick but effective backstage recording, demonstrating great humility and professionalism. Shortly after, we performed it together on stage, and the footage ended up in the song’s official video.”
